Brian Barry Wines are made from grapes grown at the famous Juds Hill Vineyard, in the picturesque Clare Valley in South Australia, 130 km's north of Adelaide.
Juds Hill produces highly prized grapes for wine making. Since being planted in 1977, the Juds Hill Vineyard has won over 135 Trophies- gold, silver, bronze and 5/5 star ratings. Its excellent quality grapes are due to the many positive natural attributes of Juds Hill. Soil, climate, rock base, altitude and geographical position combine to create premium 'terrior' or excellent natural conditions for grape growing. 2004 sees Brian to complete his 60th Vintage as a practicing winemaker.
